If you don't already know D.J., then you haven't been by his deli. He is always there and willing to talk. He lives, works, and raises his family in Downtown Historic Zanesville's 1st Ward. Raised in the 'ville. Ditty is a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School and his daughter is following the same footsteps at Bishop Fenwick Elementary. He is a local business owner running Ditty's Downtown Deli right in the middle of what is or isn't going on. Located on the corner of 4th and South Street. The Who, What, When, and Why's run in, through, and out the Deli's front door. The Police station is across one street and the local newspaper, The Times Recorder, is across the other. Whatever is happening in or around the city is eventually discussed accross the counter at Ditty's Downtown Deli. |
